how do i get rid of a bad smell?
me and my boyfriend just bought our own mobile home. we just finished remodeling it with new paint, new appliances, mini blinds, curtains, carpet, vinyl flooring, and a furniture. well the people who used to rent it had cats, dogs, rats, ferrets, and god only knows what else. i don't smell animal urine but i definitely smell some nasty stuff in this house. the thing is, im 9 weeks pregnant and the mixture of the smells from the paint, new carpet, pet smells and any other smells makes me feel so sick. i throw up every day because of the smell. what could i use or do to eliminate this odor? febreeze air fresheners make me sick and fabric softener sheets in the air vents don't last long. not even keeping the door and windows open helps. maybe there's something out there i don't know about that will work. please help. i cant take this stink any more. plus im worried that the smell from the paint isn't good for the baby.
Place bowls of water and vinegar around and make sure everything is scrubbed from top to bottom!
Also place bowls of baking soda around where people can't see them ,it may take a while but the smell will eventually fade.
