I'm thinking ......... pruchasing young rabbit, but I have a small house and two dogs!?
Hey guys, I'm thinking of buying a rabbit, I do not know all rabbits, the different types before deciding to buy one I would like to know the proper way to care for a rabbit what kind of food to feed them what not to give to eat as much to feed them how to clean clean up with a way to make your home as set in their cage to the newspaper ex, oh and if it's cold is not necessary to put a soft blanket or very small so if you get sick questions how are you not going to get one unless you think its right, because I have two dogs, a bulldog and a shepherd German siberian husky mix dog is outside, but the bulldog but always in its cage, while at home and said our house is small 3 small bedrooms not too large, even a large backyard which I think would dangerious because my husky shepherd mix come the rabbit, but the bulldog would not be able to reach him and is not an aggressive dog at all ok so what do you say?
So the German shepherd mix never goes inside? If you have the rabbit in the interior must be fine as long as no contact with dogs and bulldog never left alone in the same room. In terms of types, the best is a Lop, Netherland dwarf or dwarf. All pets easy. Netherlands not get too big for that is a plus. You need a combination of pellets preferably a grain store or pet shop. Most bought in supermarkets grains are low in nutrients, despite claiming to be a complete diet. You need to supplement with fresh vegetables pills every day. Note careful though. Iceberg lettuce should be avoided despite what the previous answerer said. It causes diarrhea and nutitional worthless. Stay away from cabbage, broccoli and cauliflour they may cause digestive system problems. Feed carrots, apples, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, spinach, dandelions, grapes, oranges and tomatoes. Also can eat freshly cut grass while his pesticide-free. Have a couple of vegetables a day, and always offer pellets and fresh water. rabbit if you mean to clean the bathroom. Few rabbits require washing. But you may need to be brushed once a week. Cage should be as large as possible and the need to be let out much to run. Standard for the cage of a small rabbit is 24 "by 36". So you need much space. Layer of newspaper on the bottom then cover with straw / shavings paper / litter for rabbits. They need blocks of ore. Can be found in pet stores. Rabbits (especially men) tend to smell much, so be sure about a rabbit if that means you have to be inside? Youll need to clean the cage every other day, and it'll need to be let out every day. A bit of a risk if the bulldog is around. Good luck with your long answer!
My dog has weird poop?
I have a Chihuahua who is crate trained and Wednesday when I got home from work I saw that he had pooped in his crate which is abnormal. It happened again on Friday. I also noticed his poop is very soft and has some sort of mucous coating it. This morning alone he pooped in the house 3 times already and all have been soft and mucousy. Anyone know what could be wrong? I don't think he ate anything he shouldn't have and I haven't changed his food. He seems to be acting normal and doesn't seem sick. It's just the poop thing thats worrying me.
i would take him to the vet, it could be any number of gastrointestinal problems and probably can be cleared up rather easily with a trip to the vet, it could even be some sort of intestinal parasite and the vet can give him a dewormer for that also
