Need some good ideas for a family type car?
These are the requirements of the new family car. 1. Absolutely no mini-van. My wife is not on board with it. 2. Need to fit three car seats total. A car seat, and two child seats. 3. Would you like one with three rows - preferably bucket seats in the second row so that a person can walk or get in the middle, and the third row of seats has to be divided with one side able to bend down. 4. Need lots of space in the back for luggage, stroller, dog, etc - or at least as much space as possible after the third row. 5. The kid stuff such as DVD players and all that shit that is not important. 6. Price range is between $ 20K and $ 40K. I really like about $ 30K, if possible. 7. I'm trying to avoid large areas. He would not mind a mid-size SUV. I am looking to buy in the spring of 2010, March or early April. I've heard good things about the Taurus X and the Toyota Highlander, but have not seen them. What other suggestions do you have? Thank you.
you can immediately eliminate the mountain, because the third row seat is not split. can choose between the two seats up or not capable. major design flaw, because the rest of the car is solid, but is much larger you think (rented one in Los Angeles during the summer, loved the interior and power, but I did scrape the wall of a narrow outlet underground parking.) I you should look at the Honda Pilot. no bucket seats in row 2, but it does seat eight people (ie, when your kids get older, each of them can lead to a friend on the trip, you may not think that's important now, but it's something to think about a big family). I have an uncle, and he loves it. very practical, very spacious and compact on the outside of their competitors with more space inside. Traveling with a dog across the country by airplane...?
I'm currently living in Boston,MA but I'm going CA about a month from now for 10 days. I have a Pomeranian who weighs around 10 lbs. We're traveling business class with Continental Airlines. I was wondering if I should buy a dog stroller and they fold up small enough to be taken in the cabin with me like take off the stroller part and the little crate part stays. How can I make it more comfortable for him? Thanks!
Well their is a bad thing with that. Each airline is different. I flew with Delta & United over the summer with my Puppy. I had to have a crate because of the fact the stroller part to use as a crate would be to big to stay under the seat. So they will tell you no. I hate to say this but your dog is going to have to stay in the crate. When you get off the airplane you can feel free to take your dog out of the crate put the dog on a chain and let the dog walk with you and play around until your next departure.
